BIO OF SERGEY BORISOV

Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Director of the Scientific and Educational Center for Practical and Applied Philosophy of the South Ural State University (Chelyabinsk), Head of the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies of the South Ural State Humanitarian Pedagogical University (Chelyabinsk), President of the Association of Philosophers Practitioners "Ratio", leader of philosophical cafe.

At present, in Russia the phrase “philosophical practice” sounds unusual. The fact is that philosophy is perceived by most people exclusively as an academic discipline in colleges and universities. This reflects the real picture. On the one hand, professional philosophers are engaged in philosophy in an academic sense. On the other hand, non-professionals doing philosophical practice. We are trying to integrate philosophical practice and the educational process. We include elements of philosophical practice in the educational programs of schools, universities and additional education. As well in Russia there are many groups that work on the principle of a philosophical cafe.

He is the president of the association of philosopher-practitioners, leading a philosophical cafe, in addition, he is engaged in research work in the field of philosophical practice, namely comparative studies. He is engaged in the coordination of work, establishing cooperation with world centers of philosophical practice, and popularizing this area. For this we organize conferences, seminars, of course, 16th International Conference on Philosophical Practice has been in 2020 and 2021 in Russia in online format.
